The Waterfront Lifeguarding course prepares lifeguards to work at non-surf, open water environments such as lakes, rivers, and water parks, as well as traditional pools. You will be certified in Waterfront Lifeguarding/First Aid (3 years) and CPR/AED Professional Rescuer (1 year) if you attend all course sessions, participate fully, and pass all physical tests and evaluations with a grade of at least 80%.
There are no Lifeguard Training classes currently scheduled, but check back for upcoming class dates. The Waterfront Lifeguarding Recertification course is intended for individuals that need to renew their certification in Waterfront Lifeguard Training. All skills and written test material (including: Lifeguarding, CPR, AED, and First Aid) will be tested in a challenge format (no teaching or coaching). Newly revised skills will be reviewed before testing. You will be re-certified in Waterfront Lifeguarding/First Aid (3 years) and CPR/AED Professional Rescuer (1 year) if you attend both course sessions, participate fully, and pass all physical tests and evaluations with a grade of at least 80%. There are no Lifeguard Recertification classes currently scheduled, but check back for upcoming class dates. These six hour courses are designed for Lifeguards that have a current CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certificate. Please note that this is a review course and you must bring a current CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer Certificate, pocket mask, and your Lifeguard or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer workbook to class. CPR/AED certificate is valid for 1 year. There are no CPR Training/Review classes currently scheduled, but check back for upcoming class dates.
